What are the best tools to use when you are launching a new startup? Here are my favorite tools I used for my weekly startups.
Finding new business ideas
- Keyword Researcher: I am using this tool to scrape Google’s autocomplete. Typing in “Why * is to expensive?” or “Why is it so complicated to *” and finding hundreds of new ideas.
- Long Tail Pro: My favorite tool to validate niche business ideas. Type in a keyword and check out the competitiveness of the existing websites.
- Justdropped.com: By signing up for their newsletter you get a daily list of domains which you could buy. This always gives me some new ideas, where I could do some business.
- Flippa.com: Great website to find new business ideas or to copy existing business ideas for your own country. Flippa sells existing online business and sometimes provides interesting numbers like number of visits and monthly revenue.
Executing business ideas
- Finding domains: 18 great tools to find the perfect domain for your business
- WordPress: I am a big fan of building fast and easy websites via WordPress. The installation just takes literally 5 minutes and you are ready to go.
- Themeforest: My favorite place to find cool themes for my WordPress sites or great working landing pages.
- Elance: A great place to find even greater people who could help you to build your business. Find freelancers for nearly everything.

Hi there, I believe your site could be having browser compatibility issues.
When I take a look at your site in Safari, it looks fine however, when opening in IE, it’s got some overlapping issues.
I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Aside from that, excellent
site!

Hi Chris,
LUV your website, your content – you seem like a pretty amazing guy!
There’s so few people like you who’re willing to put in the time and grunt work to really validate a business out here in Asia, come and work with us!
Anyways, you have your home and your business maybe we can just connect and work on something virtually….
Cheers
Hanson
